About Us
Hikmat International Institute is a private educational and research institution aimed at providing an academic and scholarly ground for the seekers of knowledge about religions, culture and peacemaking studies. We also try to provide a platform for those who want to deepen the understanding of their faith by organizing specialized courses.
What We Offer
We offer short courses in different topics including Islamic Studies, Shiite Studies, Languages, Arts etc. The courses are designed for a variety of audiences from different backgrounds and age levels. The short courses are complemented by a nice tour of Iran to make the participants more familiar with the history and beauty of the country. This also help the participants experience the culture and customs of people of the country and see how people practice their faith in their everyday lives.
We also promote inter-faith and intra-faith dialogue and believe that by bringing peace, harmony, friendship and love among adherents of different faith traditions and denominations we can make a better world and a better home for all people as the creatures of God.
Our other goal is to take advantage of the vast scholarship that exists in the holy city of Qom and its world renowned Islamic Seminary by bringing the questions of the current time to the attention of the scholars and providing proper answers for the Muslims who live in the West. We have different research groups who work on different topics in religious and cultural themes and the outcomes of their research will be published as books, articles and practical answers for the people.
Activities
The activities of Hikmat International Institute are as follows:
- Organizing Educational Courses in the field of Humanities and Islamic Studies;
- Holding Language Courses;
- Organizing Cultural and Learning Tours;
- Organizing Scientific Conferences, Events, and Meetings;
- Publication of Books and Scholarly Journals;
- Counseling Services in the fields of Academics, Family, Religion, etc.

Morteza Rezazadeh
Founder and President
Morteza Rezazadeh, is a graduate of the Islamic Seminaries of Qom and Mashhad. In addition, he earned an M.A. in Philosophy of Religion from the University of Religions and Denominations in Iran and a second M.A. in Islamic Studies and Christian-Muslim Relations from Hartford Seminary in the United States. He is now a PhD candidate in Comparative Study of Religions and Mysticism at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran. He teaches in the Islamic seminaries in Qom and Mashhad and also teaches regularly in various forums and universities in Iran and also in Europe and the USA. As a guest lectures, he has taught at University of Paderborn in Germany and University of Religions and Denominations in Iran. He is a member of the steering committee of the the International Abrahamic Forum in Germany and is highly engaged in interfaith activities worldwide.
