Persian Learning Courses
The purpose of designing these courses is to learn Persian quickly in just 100 sessions interactively and with an emphasis on conversation. From the first sessions of these courses, you can speak simple sentences in Persian. In these courses, Persian language is taught in a completely practical way and with no need for any other languages.
During these courses, you will also learn about the different dimensions of the Persian language and Iranian culture; they have been considered to get acquainted with spoken Persian and Iranian Islamic culture. This is one of the most popular sections among language learners.
Yalda Night, a Persian cultural tradition, marks the year’s longest night and the triumph of light over darkness.
What you learn in 100 sessions
Beginner (10 sessions)
At this level, you will learn the Persian alphabet; how to pronounce, read and write them with a number of different examples and vocabulary. You will also learn some straightforward Persian sentences and prepare to start your elementary course.
Elementary (30 sessions)
At this level, you will learn the basic rules of grammar and the most common and straightforward sentences in Persian. This method will be followed Throughout the course so as you go through, you will be able to talk more in different situations.
Intermediate (30 sessions)
This level focuses on writing longer texts, more grammar and reading texts, and speaking. Our efforts at this level are to improve your level of understanding and comprehension. By the end of the intermediate, you will finish all the basics of grammar. You will also be able to express your ideas more confidently.
Upper-Intermediate (30 sessions)
This level focuses on talking more, expressing opinions, writing creatively, and understanding more complex texts. At the end of this course, you will learn all the routine verbs, situational contexts, and essential words, and you will be able to read Persian text well and confidently communicate.

We believe language cannot be separated from culture. Throughout the 2-month program, we have organized specific cultural trips designed to help you interact with locals and see the diversity of Iran. These are fully guided experiences:
- Tehran (Two Separate 2-Day Trips): We will visit the capital twice.
- Trip 1: Modern Tehran, Milad Tower, and the Nature Bridge, and the Book Garden.
- Trip 2: Historic Tehran, including the Golestan Palace (UNESCO) and the Grand Bazaar and the national museum.
- Isfahan (three- to four-Day Trip): A journey to the pearl of Islamic architecture, art and culture. You will visit Naqsh-e Jahan Square, historic bridges, and interact with artisans in the bazaar.
- Kashan (One-Day Trip): A visit to the city of rosewater, exploring the Fin Garden and traditional merchant houses.
Note: In addition to these major trips, local excursions within Qom are organized regularly.
Mid-Term Trip to Isfahan
During the mid-term break, the program includes a three- to four-day trip to Isfahan, one of Iran’s most iconic historical cities. This is not just a class trip; students travel alongside their instructors, creating continuous opportunities to practice Persian in real-life situations.
Participants will explore famous landmarks such as Naqsh-e Jahan Square, traditional bazaars, and historic bridges while experiencing local culture and cuisine. The trip offers a meaningful combination of language learning, cultural immersion, and sightseeing.
Thursday Excursions: Exploring Beyond Qom
Since Thursdays mark the beginning of the weekend, we dedicate this day to exploring the rich history and nature surrounding Qom Province. These guided day-trips are included in your residency fee. Destinations are rotated weekly.
- Historical Day Trips:
- Deir-e Gachin Caravanserai: Known as the “Mother of Iranian Caravanserais,” this 1,700-year-old Sassanid structure sits in the heart of the desert.
- Nature & Adventure:
- Namak Lake & Hoz-e Soltan: Walk on Iran’s massive natural mirror—a vast salt lake perfect for photography.
- Chal-e-Nakhjir Cave: Explore one of the most beautiful living limestone caves in the world, full of millions of years of geological formations.
- Niasar Golabgiri: Visiting Niasar to see rose harvesting and traditional rosewater distillation.
- Spiritual & Local Discovery:
- Jameh Mosque: Witness the powerful spiritual atmosphere of this massive mosque complex in Qom.
- Mount Khizr: Hike up the mountain overlooking Qom to visit an ancient mosque and enjoy panoramic sunset views.

Our two-month curriculum is designed to take you from foundational knowledge to confident communication.
To fully immerse you in local life, our program follows the standard Iranian work week:
- Academic Days (Saturday – Wednesday): These are our primary instructional days. Mornings are dedicated to intensive language classes (Grammar, Reading, Listening), while afternoons feature cultural workshops such as Calligraphy (Nasta’liq), Iranian Cuisine, and Film Analysis, conversation labs, and study time.
- The Weekend (Thursday & Friday): In Iran, Thursday and Friday constitute the weekend.
- Thursdays: Reserved for our organized cultural excursions to nearby cities and historical sites.
- Fridays: The traditional day of rest. Fridays are free for you to relax, review your studies, and explore the city at your own pace.

Who is this program for?
What is the main goal of this course?
The course is designed to help you speak and understand Persian quickly — within just 100 interactive sessions. From the very first sessions, you will start using simple sentences in Persian without relying on any other language.
What type of Visa will I get?
Hikmat Institute will assist you in obtaining a Student Visa or Entry Visa depending on your nationality. Please register by February 20, 2026, to ensure ample processing time.
Will I learn about Iranian culture as well?
Yes. Alongside language learning, the course introduces you to different dimensions of Persian language and Iranian Islamic culture, including everyday spoken Persian. This cultural component is one of the most popular parts of the course.
What is the dress code in Qom?
Qom is a religious city, and a modest dress code is observed.
Men: Long trousers are required (no shorts). Short-sleeved shirts are acceptable.
Women: Loose-fitting clothing (Manteau) and a headscarf (Hijab) are required in public. In the Holy Shrine, a Chador (full-body wrap) is often required (provided at the entrance).
What is the weather like?
June to August is summer. Expect hot, dry days (35°C–40°C) and cooler evenings. Our facilities and accommodation are fully air-conditioned.
