Course Overview:

What if the story of Muhammad was not only a biography, but a key to understanding one of history’s greatest transformations?

This intensive summer program goes beyond the familiar timeline of events to explore the historical forces, social dynamics, and turning points that shaped Muhammad’s life and the emergence of Islamic civilization.

Through a historical and analytical approach, participants will examine how a seventh-century movement developed into a civilization that influenced societies, ideas, and institutions across centuries — and why its legacy continues to matter today.

Note: This is the first part of a two-part series. This summer phase focuses on the historical foundations of the Sīrah; the winter phase will explore its ethical and practical dimensions.
